Over a period of almost three years Natural Stone Industries worked with the local council and civil engineering contractors to supply vast amounts of various types of natural granite paving, kerbing specials, drainage channels, step units and cobbles to Downpatrick town centre. Finely cut and dressed paving units produced to extremely small tolerances and then laid to form intricate designs right across pedestrian areas of Downpatrick. This has resulted in dramatic environmental improvements to the whole area as can be seen in the famous St Patrick’s Square and Irish St areas as well as others.
